Viberoptix Ltd is a Tier 1 contractor specialising in the design and build of telecoms networks. We deliver frontline services to fibre network providers across the UK and Ireland. Our team of experienced and certified engineers are leaders in their field providing excellence in every aspect of the fibre network construction, installation, and maintenance.

We are looking for a Transport and Equipment Co-Ordinator to join the team in Coalisland.

This role may require some travel to our sites in GB in line with the responsibilities of the role

Responsibilities:

• Assume full responsibility of the issuance, compliance and return of all plant and equipment to staff and be able to provide reporting on same, identifying and resolving any issues
• Ensure plant and equipment are correctly signed out and returned using inspection sheets to assess damage and standards
• Ensure appropriate plant and equipment is ready for use as required and is signed out
• Liaising with suppliers for adequate and up to standard plant and equipment
• Ensuring that work sites have the required plant and equipment in order to carry out works
• Maintain records evidencing that the plant and equipment is compliant with regulations
• Produce reports to ensure compliance of plant and equipment checks and assessments
• Actively check equipment, e.g. harness and ladder checks
• Review plant and equipment checks and escalate to managers if staff not adhering to checks
• Process purchase orders promptly for any purchases
• Liaise with Procurement Manager on demand for services and products
• Place orders with Procurement team and ensure stock is recorded through the system
• Oversee the stock in / out from Stores, ensuring Stores person is submitting correct documents
• Adherence to all Health and safety practises

Skills & Qualifications required:

• Significant experience of telecoms plant and equipment, including the use and inspection of that plant and equipment
• A strong team player with initiative, strong organisation and the desire to succeed
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Commercial awareness and keeping costs to a minimum
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally
• Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines
• Resilience
• IT proficient
• Full valid driver licence
