Secretary of State Michelle Donelan visited the Penrith site and met with Fibrus and Viberoptix to launch the rollout of the infrastructure for Gigabit Broadband across Cumbria.
Viberoptix were delighted to support Marathon Man, Gary McKee in his fundraising efforts for Macmillan Cancer Support and Hospice at Home West Cumbria. Gary has committed to running 365 marathons in a year and we were honoured to sponsor him in his endeavours.
Christmas Party season arrived at Viberoptix! We were pleased to be able to host our Christmas Parties at the Old Rectory in Killyman and show our appreciation to our staff for all the incredibly hard work they have carried out over the year!

We had a week of Bingo with some fantastic prizes to celebrate our men for International Men’s Day. We also had our charity leg wax to help raise money for two amazing charities in Cumbria and NI – Air Ambulance NI and North West Ambulance Charity.

At Viberoptix, we have completed Carbon Literacy Training, provided by Business in the Community. We’re on a journey to Carbon Neutrality and we empower our teams through training, to develop a greater understanding of climate change and recognise the different ways in which we all have a role to reduce our carbon footprint as individuals and as a business.

World Mental Health Day is a day to raise awareness of mental health issues worldwide and to mobilize efforts to support mental health.
Viberoptix recently ran the Belfast Half Marathon and raised £1,186.45 for Aware NI, a fantastic charity organisation, supporting people with their mental health.
