Quality & Compliance Operative

Reporting into the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will carry out audits on work completed and ensure it is to PIA compliance standards, providing reports on audits and resolving issues where possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure execution of PIA compliance standards
  • Ensure field teams are undertaking every effort to remain compliant
  • Maintain accurate and complete record of compliance assessments and follow the notification process to alert appropriate parties where compliance is not met
  • Assist with training and supporting operatives
  • Work closely with the build teams to ensure a safe working environment
  • Support wider PIA team by providing field support; check and validate queries; and take photos
  • Manage the as-built process, working with relevant parties to ensure timely submission
  • Assist to manage the various handover stages with each programme’s quality journey
  • Support the development of processes, workflows and efficiency improvements
  • General Administration duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telecoms
  • Good understanding of Quality and Compliance policies
  • Experience implementing processes and policies (designing policies is desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience of auditing, including identifying unsafe working practices and coaching in best practice
  • Driven and able to work autonomously with high level of attention to detail
  • Competent or advanced competency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • PIA and GIS experience are desirable
