JOB TITLE: Traffic Management Auditor

JOB LOCATION: Cumbria

TERMS: Site based

 

 

THE JOB

Viberoptix is a Tier 1 contractor, specialising in the design, build and installation of full fibre networks. We are seeking a Traffic Management Auditor to join the team in Cumbria.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Survey all new OLTs for Traffic Management and TTRO requirements
  • Site surveys of all traffic management requests, providing information to the CAD Technicians
  • Carry out TM audits on live sites, identifying any concerns and providing resolution
  • Carry out on site coaching and development of TM teams where failures have been identified
  • Undertaking the role of TMO when required
  • Support the TM Manager and HSEQ department in the investigation and collation of information with regards to any incidents or fails, with high risk fails as priority
  • Support the TM Manager in root cause analysis and potential solutions in relation to high risk failures
  • Ensuring all health and safety processes and procedures are complied with in the TM team

 

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • Qualified to appropriate LANTRA level T7 or be working towards it (T6 as a minimum)
  • NEBOSH / IOSH qualified (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience of supervision and auditing of work or teams
  • Knowledge of TTRO / TTRN and the legal requirements surrounding them
  • The ability to motivate, manage a successful team to deliver the highest possible standards
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • IT literate to be able to use iPad / laptop, including use of Microsoft Office
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Ability to work on their own including both in and out of hours work
  • GIS/Autocad knowledge (desirable)
  • Previous experience of understanding and producing TTROs schedule (desirable)
